The New Performance Building's location in Berlin - Kreuzberg is not accidental. According to plans for 2010, the city is to spread on this artistic district, but there are no plans for this parcel by now. A footbridge connecting two banks of Spree river has been designed together with the theater. It introduces guests to the world of art and is an essential element crystallizing Kreuzberg's urban composition. The form was inspired by a monument, made of chaotically connected scaffolds. We consider, that it nicely corresponds with the artistic and improvised character of this place.
